Crochet Yellow and white baby dress with flower

One of my favorite websites for crochet patterns is Crochet Geek. Her patterns are easy to follow and her YouTube tutorials are amazing!  I have created many things in the past from her videos and recommend the tutorials for beginners to anyone looking to learn how to crochet.

I was looking for something new to crochet and came across a baby dress. The instructions were not that great for the one I found on pinterest so I searched for a baby dress on Crochet Geek and found this!

I thought it was so cute and I started on it right away. The pattern was easy to follow and when I got stuck I watched the video to see what it was supposed to look like.

I used yellow and white and changed up the colors on the skirt part, but the stitches are exactly the same as in the pattern. My first time making anything besides blankets, hats, and scarves and I am very VERY happy with the finished product.

I added a flower on the front (Pattern for that, also by Crochet Geek, click here for pattern) and added a button that matches the one on the back.

My best friends daughter is going to look so cute in this!

Howdy!

I love being crafty. I love creating things from yarn and from paper.  I love the idea that I can make anything I want.  Sometimes from a pattern, sometimes from this crazy random brain of mine.

Now that I wont be busy for the summer (no class, woo) I will try to create as many things as possible.

I love finding awesome things on pinterest and crochet YouTube tutorials to try out.

I have many on my mind to start and look forward to posting them!
